On Friday, June 11th , 2004 the Learning Disabilities Association of Scotch Plains Fanwood had their Student Awards and Recognition Night at Park Middle School.
Not enough thank you space is here to give appreciation for all the donations that were made, from food suppliers, music providers and contributions, to the valuable time that so many gave to make our night for the kids truly spectacular and wonderful!!!

Children, Parents and Teachers had a blast! With over 350 guests and honorees, everyone had a great evening. Special vistors included the Deputy Mayor of Scotch Plains, Paulette Coronato. Special activities for the children included a science magic show and an interactive Karate class. With all of the excitement, the kids wanted the night to go on forever – and it seemed like it could!
A favorite highlight of the evening was the Student Awards and distribution of their certificates. From Pre-K to Middle School, all the kids just sparkled as their names were called and they came forward to be congratulated. One young man of about 4 years exclaimed with zeal, "I did it!!!"
And he certainly did…they all did.
