C.H.I.L.D.
Organization stands for
Children
Having Individual Learning Disabilities
The
C.H.I.L.D. Organization - Scotch Plains Fanwood Chapter is
an all volunteer, nonprofit organization, which dedicates itself to providing
resources and supports to children and their families where there is a
learning difference or challenge. C.H.I.L.D. works in cooperation with,
but is not limited to, School Districts and their Departments, Parent and
Teacher Associations, Resolve and the Municipal Alliance Committee.
The
C.H.I.L.D. Chapter of Scotch Plains Fanwood have planned programs for parents,
caregivers, teachers and professionals for this school year. Program
workshops are open to all. Workshops are designed to also provide
Continuing Education Units (CEU's) for member professionals and
teachers.
Other
community and scholastic events for this year will include The
Recycling Fundraiser, Coffee and Tea with Mr. "B",
Annual Student Programs for
Transition, participation in Local Parades and Student Tributes and Awards. If you are interested in
helping at any of these events, or serving on any C.H.I.L.D. Committees,
